It's the new year (Happy New Year, everyone!), and I would like to announce my forthcoming internet-death.

You heard me right: I'm dying on December 31st, 2008.

You see, I had a revelation awhile back. All of the writing that I do on the internet isn't very focused or meaningful in a lot of ways. Some of you remember me saying this before, and taking action.

But it wasn't enough.

I'm tired of MySpace, Xanga, Blogger, DeviantArt, and the communities that I feel obligated to keep track of there. So, I've decided will no longer be cross-posting my blog entries on DeviantArt, Blogger, Xanga, or MySpace. And on December 31st, 2008, I will kill my memberships.

That is, if I have the guts to do so.

I want to feel liberated and "better," not tied to them like a dog on a short leash in the backyard.

So what will I do with all my newfound time? I've started a new (real) blog.

This new and shiny and wonderfully-integrated-with-my-website blog will contain writings and reflections on art, design, photography, clients, work, and the creative life in general. It's an outlet for all the thoughts I've been having throughout my (terribly brief) full-time & freelance career.

So, to all who have been reading, thank you for your loyalty so far--I hope you can follow me into this new foray of writing.
